The Entertainment Program included educational demonstrations by the Fayette County Master Gardeners, entertainment by local youth groups, and two special guest appearances from celebrities on the Mother Nature Network: Captain Planet, an environmental superhero with the powers of nature, and Danielle Venokur who offered tips on how to plan parties in a more eco-friendly way.

Other special features included:

  • Comcast Garden Demo - 2x2 foot specialty gardens that were auctioned off later in the day.
  • Kids Corner - Fun hands-on activities for kids including backyard habitats, citizen's science, and the "Water in Our World" Maze.
  • Art Contest - With finalists from the Fayette County School "Water in Our World" Art Contest.
  • Recycling - Cardinal Sanitation and other recycling vendors were on hand to collect recyclables.
